We are tasting Five different Premium Greek wines paired with assorted Greek cheeses, charcuterie and olives. We will come across at some great examples that represent true expressions of the Greek terroir. Along the tasting you should be able to find out about Greek indigenous varieties and how they naturally pair with Greek food.
The tasting will be guided by Sommelier Vasilis Dimos. He will describe Greece’s climate and characteristics along with the factors that influence the production of Greek wines.
You will be provided with two wine glasses, and a description sheet where you can make notes and scores about the wines you taste.
At the end of the tasting you should be able:
a. Have a good knowledge about Greece’s flagship varieties
b. Understand how they pair with the mediterrenean and Greek cuisine
c. Have a great time while learning about the Greek wine world.
